Three years later I am very late to this tribute wall, however, I've been going through my address book and noticed Jay's email address. Jay and my dad met on a trip to Europe several years ago and hit if off. My dad was in his 90s, a widower, and I believe Jay helped him on a few occasions while on the trip, eg when he fell, and contacting me to let me know. I didn't meet Jay, and my dad passed not long after, but I sensed he was a gentleman and I was always thankful for his kindness to my dad. My condolences to the family on this loss.

I was very sad to hear about Jay's passing. I spoke briefly with him a couple of weeks ago and he was in his usual good spirits. My company helped Jay move twice over the last several years - once from his apt. on Proudfoot Lane and the second time from Chartwell Royalcliffe. He was a pleasure to work with and I will miss seeing him at Fox Hollow. My condolences to the family.

Sending condolences on behalf of the Murphy family in London. He was a good friend to our mother/mother in law Dorothy Murphy and we will miss our discussions on travel and art.

My sympathy to the family. I am a resident at Fox Hollow and was at Royalcliffe. We spoke on the phone daily and sometimes more. I will miss Jay very much. Jay was a real gentleman..
