Passed peacefully at University Hospital on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017. Jack will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of family and friends. Loving husband of 54 years to the late Marie L. Fursman (née McComb) (2015). He is survived by his children: Harold Stanley Fursman (Diane), Helen Michelle Fursman, Elizabeth Anne McGillivary (Brian) and Carey Lyn Martinez (Carlos). Missed by his Grandchildren: Curtis John McGillivary, Zackary Michael John Fursman, Emily Anne McGillivary, Kaitlin Marie Fursman, Cecily Jean Fursman and Hannah Elizabeth Fursman; and by his great-Grandchildren: Isaac Zackary, Scarrlette Marie Rose and Rowan Maddison Ann.  Son of the late Harold and Marie Fursman, and brother of Dorthea (Sue) Faulkner.  Jack was an active member of Holy Family Parish and the Knights of Columbus, and was an avid golfer. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation at the parish one hour prior.

I recognized and knew him immediately. It has been a long time, but I remember him so well. It is easy to use the same old same old accolades. I won't. Simply, he was a good person, easy to fly with. A very, very nice human being. May he rest in peace, which he rightfully deserves. Adieu my fellow pilot. Not too many like you. Retired Captain Wayne Choptain.

I. had the pleasure of working with JAck when he instructed on the B-727. HE was a true gentleman and a fine instructor. Our condolences and prayers are with the family at this sad time.

Although I did not have the pleasure of flying with Jack, I had the privilege of having him instruct my initial 767 simulator course. I appreciated his patience and professionalism. He shared his knowledge and made the learning experience enjoyable. Thank you Jack, I hope you knew the positive impact you had on those you mentored. May you rest peacefully.
