Peacefully at Seasons Retirement Communities, Strathroy on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Frances “Jean” Digsby (2013). Father of John Jr. Digsby. Loving brother of David Warner (Marilyn) and Margaret McGuiness (Edward). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brother Alan Warner. At John’s request there will be no funeral service. Private interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider LHSF – Cancer Program.

Dave & Marilyn, My heartfelt thoughts and prayers have been with you and John these last couple of weeks and will continue to be with you and your family. John was an inspiration to me, an amazing gentleman. I will miss him dearly.
To John's family my deepest sympathy. Many years ago I served with John on the London Police. He was a pleasant individual with a a sharp wit mixed with much British humor. After his time with the police,he traveled for a candy company (can't recall any free samples). I bought my first new car from him. Next he was operating a LTC bus.(got some free rides).In later years when his vision was fading I often met him uptown with Jean. They were a remarkable couple. Always took time for a chat which included many laughs. No doubt he will be missed by his family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. George T. My deepest condolences go out to Dave & Marilyn and family. I can honestly say I have never met a man who was so kind and good as John was. He was always ready to have a chat and ohhhh I loved his warm smile so much. Those flaming 7's are hot John...lol. May you rest in eternal peace my friend.
