John Lawrence Forrester

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Forrester in London, Ontario, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in his 83rd year. John loved and was much loved by his daughter Kate, and four grandchildren Trent, Tyler, James and Emily.
Predeceased by his parents James and Doreen Forrester, his beloved wife Maureen (2021) and his son Adam (1996). He worked for Bell Canada for many years in both London and Toronto until his retirement.
John was a very kind, considerate and caring man. He will be dearly missed by his many cousins, especially Peter; his close friends, Brenda and Bob, Maureen and Rick; his Hunt Club Glen walking buddies; and many others. He loved cruising and spending his winters in Barbados with Maureen. Recently he continued his trips to Barbados with friends Don, Marilyn and Sandra.
As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements have been made for a private interment at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Adam Forrester’s Bursary fund at King’s College would be greatly appreciated.

John was one of the first people I met when I moved to London and Hunt Club Glen. We always had great conversations on our daily walks and I will miss him. He was a great guy, a great friend and a great neighbour.
