John Neale

May 17, 2010

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our “Rock”, John at University Hospital on Monday, May 17, 2010 in his 57th year. He was an amazing Father, Husband and Friend who touched the lives of so many. Survived by “first wife” and best friend Debbie (Tomchuk). Daughters Lindsay, Andrea, Carly and Stephanie. Predeceased by parents Reuben and Elizabeth and brother-in-law Stephen. Caring and “favourite” son-in-law of Carl and Marion Tomchuk. Brothers and sisters Mary, Anne, Paul, Catherine, Bernadette and Bruno. Sister-in-law Francine, brothers-in-law Bert Baldwin, Ken Hermann and Alan Nunn. Adored uncle to ten nieces and nephews. The unofficial Mayor of Byron, known by all for his charismatic and larger than life personality. A sports enthusiast (Go Habs Go) and Byron girl’s soccer coach for 19 years, not to mention his hole in one, if you haven’t already heard. Hard working and dedicated businessman who inspired many and welcomed all to his home with open arms. Well known for his love of life, sense of humor, generosity and his involvement in so many lives. His commitment to his family was second to none. Thanks to the exceptional ICU team at University Hospital. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent to westview@execulink.com We love you Johnny!!
