Dear Auntie Annette and Family, From earlier days in Keswick riding the waves of Lake Simcoe in Uncle John's boat, to cruising the streets of Milton in his Corvette, and many fun trips with Dino to Home Depot in his yellow Ford truck, we feel blessed that he brought us along for the ride! We will miss Uncle John dearly, but his kind and gentle spirit will live on in his amazing family. We are so sorry for your loss. Love you guys.

To all of you, my heart goes out to you all. I was so sad when I heard about John not only about his passing but about his courageous struggle beforehand. He truly was an amazing person, with whom I owe a lot of good memories as I was always welcomed with open arms in your home. My fondest memory was at Christmas in the new house- the ONE and ONLY time I ever saw him in shorts dancing to 'I'll have a Blue Christmas" by Elvis. His dancing alone, but then with those long skinny legs making the whole room smile and to this day every time I hear the song, I smile. I also remember Annette and John kindly offered to pick us all up dinner from Wendy's in Georgetown except when they got and double checked the truck they realized they had paid at the first window but forgot to stop at the second window to pick up the food. John was a great role model, silent at times but that was okay because of who he was. He loved my Mom's jam, loved his invention to strip furniture and most of all loved his wife and kids. Although shorter than we would all want, just know you were blessed if even for a brief moment to have met him and the family. I am away this weekend with my son at a hockey tournament but you will all be in Mom & I's prayers. With deepest sympathy, Kim

Annette and Family - I am very sorry and saddened to hear about my cousin Johnny, I am so sad about this - we were always welcome in his home as he was in ours. I know that he was still with us and healthy he would be building or fixing something and be perfectly happy. Thank you all for reminding me how lucky you were to have him for a father and husband. If I recited all the funny stories and laughs we had - this woud be a very long message. Thank you for taking care of him when he was unhealthy. Hugs to all - we need more people like him! It was great to see you and I hope to see all of you soon- Hugs - Ernie
