John T. McConnell

Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11^th, 2017, at Dearness Home at the age of 93.  Beloved husband of the late Lucille McConnell (2001). Loving father of Mike (Sue), Peter (Deb), and Todd (Claire). Caring grandfather of Nicole, Brandon, Tyson, Nate, Conner, Callum and great-grandfather of Christian. Predeceased by his brother Bud. John proudly served his country in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the 2^nd World War. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, always having time and love for his cherished family. A private graveside and interment of ashes has taken place at Woodland Cemetery. Sincere appreciation is extended to the doctors and staff at Dearness Home “Oakdale” for the professional, kind and caring attention John received during his stay there.
