Sad to see that Jack has passed away. We both enjoyed the many years we spent together working with the Orangeville PS. Please accept our sincere condolences, Shirley & Family.
Liz: I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers and prayers are with your family during this tough time. Your dad will never be forgotten, his legacy lives through you. See you soon. Nancy
Dear Shirley, I am so sorry to learn about John's passing. He was the best teacher I had at Imperial Oil, and was most generous in taking time to take me through all of my documents, engineering design, etc., that I am forever grateful. Guess the last time we saw you folks was when you were still living in Sarnia. I regret that we have not seen each other for so long, over 10 years anyway. I just learned about this today so is not possible to come and attend John's funeral. May John rest in peace and heaven. Please take care of yourself! Stella Tse
Hello Shirley: Tania and I mourn the passing of such a good and dear friend. John always inspired me [Bruce] during our careers at Imperial Oil. He was such a loving and skilled engineer and manager. We have many happy moments of you both esp during our stint in Sarnia when we were next-door neighbors [1984-1986]. We love him, and we love you too. Please accept our deepest condolences. We shall pray for the repose of his soul and for you to be at peace, despite this terrible loss. Bruce and Tania Orr Sept 1, 2014
Dear Shirley: It was with such a great sense of disappointment and sadness that I learned about the passing of John in the Esso Annuitants notification. Dorothy and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and to your family. My friendship with John goes back a long time (mid 1950's) when we first met on a course at the Engineering Division in Sarnnia and our paths crossed so many times over the years. John was a very intelligent and skilled engineer and it was always a pleasure to work with him on a large number of projects. In our retiremenr years when you were able to to come to Toronto Vera and I were always delighted to meet with you both at the Esso Annuitants dinners and events. And your Christmas cards over the years were welcome to share the Christmas Spirit. We ask that the Lord welcome John with his loving arms and that He will be a strength to you and your family at this time of great loss in your lives. Sincerely Bill Pink and Dorothy.
