Julaine Leslie Neufert

June 21, 2016

Words cannot describe the loss of such a gentle and caring soul that was taken from us too soon.  A loving, devoted Christian woman who taught us the power of God’s love and how to act as a shining light.  Her radiant beauty and smile captivated all those around her. Julaine passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016 in her 60th year.  She was a selfless mother who was greatly loved by her daughters Rebecca and Rachel.  She looked up to her older brother Greg Quinney (Mary). Julaine’s presence will be fondly remembered by Roy Neufert; her nieces Melissa Jeske and Danielle Quinney, nephew Shawn Quinney and their families. She is now reunited in heaven with her parents Lillian and Thomas Quinney. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where a service to celebrate Julaine’s life will be held on Saturday, June 25th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.  Interment at Strathroy Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Julaine are asked to consider the Canadian Liver Foundation.  For information and online condolences, please visit >www.westviewfuneralchapel.com

My dear friend Julaine you left this life too soon. We use to call ourselves sister's. I was do proud to call you my friend. I know that you are at peace now. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not think of you and the wonderful friendship we shared over many years. Rebecca and Rachel I cannot express to you how sorry I am that you are having to go through this terrible loss. I can tell you that your mother was so proud of you both and all of your accomplishments. I think what she was most happy about was the caring, loving, intelligent young women you have become. Your mother shared many of your accomplishments with me. She was blessed to have you both and she would agree with that. She was your biggest cheerleader. I know your father is a caring and loving father and he and Rosie will be there loving you both and being supportive. You both know I love you both and you are not alone. My deepest condolences to all of the family. I will always love and miss you my friend!

I'm so sadden and shock to know that Juliane has passed on. She was such a wonderful sweet loving person. Juliane has been getting her nails done by us for years and I will always remember your sweet smile and our chat about life and our kids, how proud you were of the girls. My condolences to Rebecca and Rachel and your family. Your mom was loved by everyone who knew her. She will greatly be missed! Xx

Words cannot begin to express my sorrow. Saying goodbye must be heartbreaking. I'm so grateful to have had the privilege of knowing Julaine as both a colleague and a friend. Forever remembered Forever Missed

Dear Rebecca and Rachel. Your mom was always so proud of you. She was your biggest supporter and cheerleader. She was also one of my greatest prayer worriers and supporter. I will forever miss her wisdom and encouragement. She was always a ray of sunshine for me. It was a privilege to be her friend. I will always be thankful to God for allowing us to meet when she locked herself out of her car in the school parking lot and I drove her home to get her spare set of keys. That cemented the relationship . I long for the day when we will be reunited again.... I will pray that the God of Comfort will carry you through this time in your life and that with the Lord's help you will carry on your mother's legacy. In Christ Love Sue Lofgren.

~ Sue LOFGREN

My sweet friend, as much as I know you are in a beautiful place, for selfish reasons I will forever miss the loss of you here on earth. We just weren't ready to let you go!! For over 36 years we shared a friendship that ebbed and flowed with life, but was always easily picked up wherever we left off. So many memories I will keep alive and celebrate when I am missing you....our musical duo that we always talked of forming, and the laughs we shared as we sang our hearts out together. Over this year we planned your trip home with me to Vietnam, and I will miss your company on that flight. Your legacy will live on through two beautiful girls, and I know that you will continue to watch from afar and beam with pride! God must have needed you for other things as he has called you home much too soon....in the meantime, know that you were always loved, and will be forever missed....You have earned your wings girlfriend, so fly high and free, and unburdened.... Love you forever Julaine

Your mom was truly a beautiful lady inside and out! I always will remember her for her absolutely beautiful smile and such a happy spirit. She was always so comforting during my divorce and I appreciated her friendship during this time. I will always remember how she lit up the stage dancing and more importantly how much she was so proud of her daughters. Both girls as beautiful as their mom and both so talented. Juliane until we meet again I will look up and remember your beautiful smile. God Bless you and both your beautiful girls!!!

~ Kelly Munro

Rachel and Rebecca my memories of your mom will always be her crazy laugh and amazing dance moves as she lit up the stage in our dance group. She will be missed. My sympathy and love to you and the family.

Juliane was the person who pushed me to believe in my dream and to go out an accomplish it. The support and love she gave me will never be forgotten. Her laugh lit up a room! She had a contagious personality. She was the best "dance mom. " So much love to Rebecca and Rachel- your mom loved you endlessly. Cheers to an amazing lady that will be deeply missed by so many.

May you rest in peace Julaine. You were the first person I met when we moved to london to advance Kasandras dance at a new studio and you were always so loving, supportive and your humour kept us all laughing. God had other plans for you so we will treasure the great memories of the dance years and beyond. God bless you. Rachel and Becca please know your Mom was amazing and she will be with you in spirit forever. May your memories bring you comfort. Rest in peace beautiful lady until we meet again.

~ Nancy Luftenegger

Every night when I close my eyes I see you and I laughing until we cried! And I laugh until I cry. Julaine, with you I met someone who shared the same sense of humour and we had such good times together. You loved to cook and I loved to eat, we could talk about anything...and we did. I could never have imagined a world without you in it. Rebecca and Rachel, your mom was SO proud of you both and her love for you was boundless. You will never walk alone girls, she is always with you. Julaine was a fiercely loyal friend to all. Her God was Her Saviour. I love you Julaine! I always will.

Dear Julaine, You will be missed very dearly. You're candle was extinguished much to early. You were the inspirational and the guiding light in so very many lives and your passing has left darkness. Although, I know that now, at last, you will be able continue your work in the presence of the Lord. To the family of Julaine, I am very sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest and most sincere sympathies. May God bless you all.

~ Jean-Marie Fiala

Julaine, my heart is broken, I can't imagine not seeing your beautiful smiling face. I love you and always will. We talked and joked about everything under the sun; a couple of weeks before your passing, you told me that I was like a sister to you and how much your mom loved me. Looking back on that day, I am so blessed to have shared so many feelings with you. You were an amazing woman; many years ago you showed me the way to our Lord. I love you for that. Rebecca and Rachel, I love you girls and you know that I will be there for you in any way that I can. Your mom was so proud of both of you, she beamed whenever she spoke of your accomplishments. She will be missed by so many that knew and loved her. God as another beautiful angel and nana and papa have their daughter back. We are so sad and they are so happy they are reunited and resting in God's loving arms.

~ Sheila Johnson

Rebecca and Rachel, kindness-compassion-generosity-love-care-goodness-courage-faith, these words describe your sweet momma. She has left you with a deeply beautiful heritage. We are praying that God's comfort and peace will overtake you as you say goodbye. Hugs xxxx

~ Elaine Olson

Julaine's strong faith throughout her life will hopefully have sustained her as she walked the final journey on earth to her just reward. The curtain has fallen but memories will keep Julaine in our hearts forever. Julaine was an attendant at the marriage of my daughter, Shannon-Lee Kelly. Always fun to be with and, with technology at our fingertips, we have remained connected. She was "Lady in Red" at that Valentine's Day wedding in 1987. Now it's a gown of white, complete with golden crown and angel wings. Her legacy will live on in her daughters. Ann C. Kelly, Owen Sound
