I knew karen in the mid 1970's, we were two birds of a feather.... Fly high Karen, soar the skies and be free...

~ Kim Walker

I look back on eight years where Kiwi (as I knew her) would bring smiles, excitement, and delight into my days. Almost always unexpectedly, she would show up at South Riverdale Community Health Centre, a flurry of energy, activity, and sociability. I loved Kiwi's persistent optimism, faith in humankind, and belief in self, that no mater how difficult life could be at times, she would always persevere. I will miss her dearly, and am grateful for the caring relationship we had.

I am one of the kids that hung out at the park. I didn't know Karen that well, but did know of her and her bright Red hair. Mine was red too! I knew a few of the Wilson's in the group but I really just want to say I am so sorry for your loss, of one of your siblings. Life is short and it just fly's by. Karen was way to young to to be gone. God Bless!
