Peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Chartwell, Aylmer, Ontario, Kathleen Leona (White) D’Angelo in her 97th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph (1997) and her beloved son, Michael (2013). Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Mary Van Waterschoot and her husband Herb, and daughter-in-law Wendy D’Angelo. Loving and loved “Gramma Katie” to Tony (Allyson), Joe (Katy), Katie and Lisa. Great Gramma to Cooper and Colbie. Kathleen is also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Albert (Bernice), Allan (Mae), Margaret (Lloyd), Louise (Verne), Joe, Edna, Jack (Gertie), and Jim (Pat). Katie will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Ethel White and by her many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at Chartwell, Aylmer, for their care and kindness. A Funeral Service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Kathleen are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association.
