Condolences. Kelly was a friend and co-worker. RIP.
My sincere condolences to Bonnie and family. Kelly was a good friend of my late father, Ken Pidgeon (retired OPP). Sending you all so much love.
I got to know Kelly not long after I first moved to Chatham. He always had a way of greeting you and was a firm believer in the saying, " you are a stranger only once." He always greeted you with some sage advice and usually a little story anytime I saw him. He will be greatly missed by many Legionnaires. Rest easy, Kelly. John Grosvenor Br. 642 Chatham.
Sincere condolences on the passing of Kelly, thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie and family. Bea Handford
Sincere condolences and healing thoughts to all of Kelly's family and friends. And Kelly, thank you for your OPP service and for your work with the Legion. I first met Kelly during the Legion Nationals (Track and Field championships), and in my national communications role with the Legion I had many short chats with him over the years. He always presented an award at the Games and took that role seriously. We missed his presence in early August this year. I recall the unique "light" in his eyes and the friendly hug when I'd first see him at the start of the Games. He'd always have a funny remark to share. Make no mistake, Kelly's fun energy and spirit is still around and always will be! :)

I miss our long chats about nothing in particular, the stories, the jokes—and of course, the treat deliveries. He was truly one of kind. - Fly high my friend ♥
Sending our condolences to Bonnie and the family on the loss of Kelly our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rest in Peace Kelly.
To Bonnie & family our sincere condolences. Kelly was the very definition of a gentleman. As with many of the other tributes it was the Royal Canadian Legion and in particular the Legion National T&F Championship which allowed us the privilege of getting to know Kelly. Always helpful, always available, always positive - he was a pleasure to know and work with. His support of the youth T&F went above and beyond the norm and as such he was recognized for his contributions with the President,s Award. He made a difference. We will join Bruce Buchanan across the distance with that toast. Rest in peace Kelly - your memory is safely tucked away.
I met Kelly years ago at a Legion convention, and we hit it off immediately after finding out that we both shared a career in law enforcement. From that point forward, I looked forward to seeing Kelly and getting together for a beverage and some friendly banter. He had a great sense of humour, and I always found that the time to get together was too short. My condolences to Kelly's family. He will be missed. RIP.
My condolences to Kelly’s family. I had the privilege of knowing Kelly through the Legion National Track & Field competition. I will miss seeing Kelly at track & field. I will have fond memories of Kelly from track & field. He was a super guy. Kelly Therien
We had the great fortune of working with Kelly for many years. Kelly and I travelled far and wide attending Legion Conventions. Many great adventures and memories that will stay with me forever. We will be thinking of Bonnie and family during this difficult time. Kelly I will have one our favourite rums tonight and be thinking of you. RIP my friend
Kelly was a true joy to be around. That smile, especially when he just caught you with one of his "zingers" will be missed. Always helpful, always positive, and always there for us at the Royal Canadian Legion with advice and information. Kelly was one of the good guys and a pleasure to be around. Our sincere condolences to the entire family and extended circle of friends, comrades, and co-workers. Rest in Peace.
Condolences to Kelly's Family. Your loss will be shared by all who had the privilege of meeting Kelly during his life journey. In the late 90's, as Kelly was building business for PIB, I was an insurance professional and a Branch President, having finally convinced the 'old boys' that we could get better coverage for less money, by coincidence, Kelly called. He came to the branch, made the pitch, and got the sale, and many more that followed. As time passed, our paths continued to cross. Kelly soon became 'the go to person' for Legion branches across Ontario, then Canada. He'd be at conventions handing out draw tickets, which I never won! At Provincial Admin meetings, to share the good and bad news of loss ratios, premium increases, etc. Then came PEC, when with big smiles, hugs, and, boss Bruce, in tow, he'd present a generous donation, to our shared passion the Ontario Command Track & Field Program, and, of course, the much loved Home Hardware gift cards!! Over the years, my husband Bill and I enjoyed Kelly's company and his stories on numerous occasions, and though we'll miss him at future T & F, he'll be in our thoughts. May you find comfort in happy memories at this sad time. To Kelly, rest in Peace our Friend. God Bless.

My sincere condolences to Kelly's family on his passing. I first met Kelly through the OPP Assoc. A few years after retiring I met up with him while making a delivery to PIB in Elmira, where he was working after his retirement. He was a true gentleman. RIP Kelly.
