TUOMI, Kevin John – Peacefully and with family at his side on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013, Mr. Kevin John Tuomi, of London, aged 49 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Margy Tiessen Tuomi. Loving Dad of Gray, Lily and Henry, all at home. Baby brother of Gary (Karen), Sharon Tanguay (Mike), Richard (Lisette), Rob (Deb), Terry (Pat), Scott (Linda) and Michael (Joy). Predeceased by his Mom and Dad, Lillian and Matti. A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest City Community Church, 3725 Bostwick Road, London, on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kirk Harper officiating. The family wishes for donations to be made to an Education Trust Fund for Gray, Lily and Henry. Cheques made payable to ‘Margaret Tiessen and Janice Bonthron In Trust’. Margy, Lily, Gray, and Henry, Our heartfelt sympathies at this very sad time. "Kev" was a fixture in our home and visited often. He was a happy member of the "band of brothers" David called good friends. Whether it was on the golf course or some other "adventure" there was always a lot of laughs and good times for all. We will always remember him for his smile and great sense of humour. May your memories give you comfort in the days to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
My sincere condolences Margy and family. Lily, you have lost a great father who always loved your smile has he once told me at one of your basketball games. He will now live in your memory and when ever the need arises dwell on the good times you had with him.

Margy, I had the pleasure to get to know Kev through John Fleming. Kev and I played golf together in Michigan on a number of occassions and I always looked forward to, and thoroughly enjoyed, those rounds with the big fella. Kev struck me as a solid guy, understated, grounded and one with a great sense of humor. He was a true northerer and I will miss his company. Our family has so enjoyed the time we spend with the Tuomi clan over the last few years. We are saddened beyond words to lose KT so soon. Such an all around great guy to be with. Alvin, myself, Rebecca and Jeremy are so very sorry to hear of the loss of Kevin! Our deepest sympathy to all of his family all of whom we don't know, but I worked with Joy Tuomi at National Trust for years and met Michael many times. Scott and Linda were our favourite neighbours for years when they lived on Lorraine Ave and we lived around the corner on Paul St. We'll be thinking of you.
