Peacefully after a long illness at Parkwood Institute on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Beloved husband of Vicki, father of Robert Blake Taylor and family, Valerie Murphy and family, and his son, the late Kevin Michael Taylor. Also missed by his niece, Kate Duddy and daughter Maddie; sister-in-law, Michelle Duddy; and brother-in-law, Carl Spinarsky (Monique). Predeceased by his parents Leroy Kimball Taylor and Joan Euphemia Taylor, his sister Gloria Taylor, and brother-in-law, James S. Duddy.
Joseph was a former Ilderton Lion’s member. He also taught at Strathroy Collegiate and Lowe High School in Windsor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joseph’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Dear Vicki, I am so sorry to read of Joe's passing! I envied the support he showed you in all of your singing and performing. He was such a lovely man! Best wishes as you move through this change! love, Heather
Joe and I used to reminisce about Chatham. We shared experiences we had with Mother Hildegard who used to teach with a hockey stick. Joe really liked the architecture of St. Joseph’s in Chatham. He will be missed.
