Peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 9, 2014, Lambert “Bert” Thyssen, of London, passed away at the age of 68. Cherished husband and best friend of Dianne. Loving father of Rodger Thyssen, Jennifer Rankin, and step-father of Richard De Caesteker and Brian Ellis. Dear grandfather of Justin, Danny, Zak, Ashley, Alysia, Austin, Adam, Amber and Ava. Brother of Dick Thyssen. Predeceased by his daughter Brenda and by his sister Willie Henderson. At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bert are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

I am so sorry to hear of my uncle Bert passing, my heart goes out to Dianne and my cousins Rodger and Jennifer and their families during this difficult time, may he be at peace now and join together with other family members who have passed before him.
