Laura Humphrey
January 30, 2017
1955 – 2017
It is with mixed emotions of deep sorrow and blessing that we announce that Laura departed her earthly vessel and earned eternal reward with her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 30th, 2017. She fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Laura will forever be remembered for her sense of humour, willingness for adventure, dedication to her family and her faith in Christ. Adored wife of Douglas Humphrey for 17 years. Cherished and devoted mother of Dawn Duncan and Tim Davis (Shannon). Treasured grandma of Tess and Delaney Duncan and Addison and Avery Davis. Beloved daughter of the late Gladys and Russell Fletcher. Loving sister of Lois Chipps (Gary), Fran Graham (Don) and Lisa Lyon (Brandt). Deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended Fletcher, Kyte, and Humphrey families, and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at North Broadway Baptist Church, 6 North Street East, Tillsonburg, where a funeral service to celebrate Laura’s life will be conducted on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Delmer Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Laura are asked to consider PSP – Parkinson Canada, Gideons International or Samaritan’s Purse.

Dear Lois, Fran and families, my deepest sympathy and prayers. Such great summer visits we had as 'kids'....the laughter...the singing...going for ice cream in town....so much more all locked in my memory. God Bless You.
Sending our prayers to you during this difficult time. We have many memories of your mom.
We share in the deep sadness at the loss of one so loved. At the same time we rejoice knowing that Laura is happy and free and with Him whom she cherished and who completely cherishes her.
We hope that your memories will be of the Laura that was, not of the end of her life, which is just a thin sliver of the whole. May she smile down on her family and may you all feel her love and gratitude till you are all together again

I was so blessed to be able to witness Laura and family as you walked together through such a difficult situation with great faith, warm love, and determined persistence. It was truly a clear picture of the power and hope and love of Jesus in each person. I think that if Laura could send a message down to all of her dear loved ones she'd smile and say, "I miss you all a lot, but don't ever wish me back!" and then giggle that little giggle that was so her!! With much appreciation and love, blessings to each of you, Mary
