Leolo “Betty” Murray
May 2, 1928 - June 6, 2022
After a brief illness, Betty died peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2022. Betty Taylor was born on May 2, 1928 in Tilbury, Ontario. For almost 60 years, she was the most loving wife and best friend to Edward “Ted” Murray (2005). She was the very proud mother to Douglas (Mary Anne) and David (Cindy). She adored her grandchildren Melissa (Chris) and Heather (Brandon). She was lucky to be a great-grandma to Calvin. She is survived by her sister Loretta, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Clarence and Bessie; and sisters Juanita and Barbara.
Betty was a long-time employee of Canada Trust, finishing her career working in the vault at the Dundas and Clarence branch. In the last six years, she was a very happy resident of Royalcliffe Retirement Home.
In respect of her wishes, there will be a private interment.
To honour Betty, take a walk on a beautiful day; plant a flower in your garden and think of her when it blooms; and most of all, enjoy each day.

Doug, Mary Anne and family, sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. You are in our thoughts.
I am so sorry to learn of Betty's passing. I met Betty when I moved to Royalcliffe in Sep 2020. She was always so kind and friendly. We had some friends in common and she would ask for them. Her happy smile will be missed. Rest in peace, Betty. Sincerely, Dorothy
