Peacefully but unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, in her 86th year. She now joins her beloved husband Antonio (2018), with whom she shared over 60 happy years of marriage. Loving mother of Mario and his wife Graciela Diaz Rodelo Fatibene, and Lou Fatibene. Adored grandmother of Andrea Fatibene and her husband Carlos Herrera and Tony Fatibene, and great-grandmother of Sophia and Taylor Herrera. Predeceased by her brother Michael Mescia. Leonarda will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, both in Canada and Italy. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum.
