Lori Hicks

Lori is are the most inspirational, strong, caring woman, and a true fighter!! I am so thankful that over my lifetime I got the chance to know her and learn so much from her! Im sure that the news of her passing has been heartbreaking for everyone whose lives she has so lovingly blessed with her positivity, humour and kindness. Even on her weakest days she has had a smile on her face & was making everyone laugh! My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family & friends. Heaven gained a true angel. I hope you rest in sweet peace Lori. Love you always, xoxo

To Lori's family, Lori was in my grade 13 class at Pauline Johnson high school in Brantford. We soon became good friends and she taught me alot about life. That year was a wild ride for both of us and we had so much fun. I'll always remember her laugh, her wisdom and the grasp she had on life. I'd see her here in London occasionally, but we never had a chance to truly reminisce. Seeing the notice in the paper stunned me and I feel like part of me is missing now. Lori - I met you through our mutual work many years ago and from there we formed a bond and friendship that was everlasting. You were a remarkable woman with strength, courage and compassion beyond words. My deepest sympathy to your sons who I know meant more than anything to you and to the rest of your family. I will miss you but my fondest memories will last forever.

Lori was very committed to her job. She was a very caring person and will be missed by all who knew her. When I think of Lori it brings much appreciation and many happy memorys as we worked hand in hand on the bowl- a -thon committee. She definatly knew how to put on a good bowl-a- thon.

We met Lori through the London myeloma support group and formed an immediate friendship with her. Lori was so easy to talk to and we shared information at meetings and discussed ways to deal with this illness. Lori made invaluable contributions to the myeloma cause. We will miss her greatly.

Sending my Sincerest Condolences To Lori's Family and Friends.. Lori is a fellow Parisian.. And I live in Goderich, and Lori has come to Goderich to the Art Mart.. She loved Goderich.. We started emailing back and forth .. with the great invention of facebook.. Lori 's Courage and Strength .. is only to be admired.. As She was so willing to share it with others.. When She was feeling bad and going through terrible things .. She always thought of others.. and would ask.. about them.. My cousin had MM also she passed the week before Lori.. Lori was always willing to share her knowledge about MM.. I will miss our talks.. And am Thankful that I was able to share friendship with her.. Rest in Peace Lori.. Lori often encouraged and inspired me when I was low. I think she was an amazingly loving woman and the sharing she was willing to do with me was important to me. My heart goes out to all her family. She will forever be tucked in my heart. Thank you for sharing her with ever so many of us. Much love to you all.

Lori was a woman who lived with authencity, boldness and courage. She was a lover of life and fun and she revealed the value of people by being so very present to them... I am so grateful to have known her - glad her pain is now gone.

Lori....your ability to connect and be with anyone around you will never be forgotten. My memories of Lori will include all she loved....people and friendships, bowl-a-thon, and valuing life.

When I think of Lori I think of Disney! She was spirited, thoughtful, positive and determined in whatever she took on. She will be missed by many as she affected many lives.

Lori was such a creative person, we could talk for hours about crafts. I will her jokes and laughter.
