My sincerest condolences to the entire Vandenberk family at this sad time. Having been a full time care giver of an elderly parent, Mary Lou and Dave strength to you especially as you will feel the void greatly. Aunt Liz was a strong, wonderful woman. She will be missed by many.

Our deepest condolences . We will miss Louise very much, but we have nothing but the best of memories.

I did Louise's hair for many years. It was always such a pleasure to have her sit in my chair. She truly loved her family. She always had her nails colorfully polished, and dressed immaculately. Enjoyed her many trips to the Falls, especially the side trips to the Casino. It was a sad day for both of us when I told her of my retirement. Your Mom, Grandmother & Aunt was truly a classy lady whom I dearly loved. RIP Louise.

Dear family , it is with great respect that both Wim and I are so very sorry for the lost of yours beloved Mom! We always will remember her as a warm and loving Auntie during our stay in Canada! It will be so very empty without Louise/Lies in your surroundings but I am so convinced that there will be so much to remember. There is a Dutch sentence that says; 'iemand is pas echt dood als er niet meer over hem of haar gesproken wordt'! Hopefully Mary-Lou you can translate this for the family. I am convinced that you all are never stop speaking about your Mom! With love and respect tot you all!

We have fond memories of "Lies" (Louise). She will be missed and remembered. All our love goes out to her family.

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your muched loved mother. I know it must be a sad time for you. Unfortunatley I never met your mom, but I can tell from afar just how much she was loved by you as much as I loved my late mum, who was of a similar age when she passed away last year. I know I am right when I say both these wonderful Mums were loved by their respective families that words alone cannot describe. All I can say is to have had a mother like these is priceless and what lucky people we are for this. I am sure your mum 'Louise' and my mum 'Elsie' are now looking down on us all from a better place. So Very sorry to see she has passed. She was one of the people that touched me deeply. I have fond memories of going into Don Dewals on Saturday morning with dad then we had to stop to see Pete and Liz for bacon and eggs. I will remember her forever. May she rest in piece.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Martin, Mary-Lou, Mary-Anne and their families. Louise always had a welcoming and accepting spirit which was very valued to me, as a newcomer to Canada, in the late 70s. I have many fond memories of spending special times at the Craig Street home with the Vandenberk family. Louise set a wonderful example of a loving and nurturing home life. You’ll always be in our hearts Louise. All our love Nina, Craig and Emma x.
