Peacefully passed away at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018. Luca Di Raimo, at the age of 10, was surrounded by his loving parents Luigi and Jennifer. He is cherished by his brother Matteo and his dogs. Luca will also be sadly missed by his grandparents, aunt, zio, cousins, teachers and countless friends. Luca had a beautiful smile, a love for the environment, animals and rainbows. He was an extraordinary human. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. JOHN THE DIVINE PARISH, 390 Base Line Road West, London on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Luca are asked to consider the Platelet Disorder Support Association (www.pdsa.org).

I am sad to hear about this tragedy. I am sure that God cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our loved ones like precious Luca will be resurrected.
