I'm so very saddened to realize I took too long to try and reconnect, and now ......My only picture I can find is from decades ago
I just heard of Linda's passing I'm so so sorry for your loss. I worked with linda at Town & Country in Westmount mall many many years ago we all had a blast. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.
To Linda's family: I was talking to an old friend and was told of Linda's passing. Please accept my condolences and know that I am thinking of you at this time. Terri Rau and I attended Ecole Ste. Marie with Linda and the one moment we recently shared was when she had a sleepover at the Mansion (as we saw it) in Bayfield. The staircase was massive and the room was so large that all of us girls got to sleep in the same bedroom....the one with the big bay window that faced the street. We ate and laughed and carried on through the early morning hours. I will always remember that time and remember how beautiful she was in so so many ways. Take Care. Mary Ann
My mom (Donna) called me after seeing Lynn's obituary in the paper this week. We were both so shocked as we didn't realize she was sick. The last time I saw her was a year ago January at mom's surprise 65th party at Westhaven. Her and Brad came and we chatted and she seemed her same old sweet, funny and beautiful Lynnie to me. I never saw any indication she was anything but the healthy woman she appeared to be. That isn't surprising tho, she never was one to complain. We caught up and she told me about Mattie and all he was upto(and how tall and handsome young man he had grown into) and I filled her in on my boys. When my family moved to London back in 1994, I can remember the neighbour from directly across the street popping over to introduce her self. She had been out walking her dog Potters and saw us outside. That day was the start of many years of being great neighbours. Lynn helped me get a job at the store she worked at in whiteoaks mall. So we got to spend time together there. She really was so darn funny and witty. Never afraid to laugh at herself nor take herself to seriously which was all too common. She always spoke of Brad and Matt so highly, she loved them very much. I am sure you both are feeling such an empty spot right now with her passing. I have no doubt she is somehow looking down and always will be. She would want you both to be happy (I can close my eyes and hear her saying ' well jeesh jen, they better be a bit sad and miss me if I die, then they better go be happy '. She never took herself too seriously and always had something witty to say. Always a smile and a wave. She will be missed greatly and never forgotten. Please take care of each other and know we are all sending our love and strength to you both during this difficult time as you try to find what your new normal is. With the most deepest of sympathies, Jen Millar Giudice ( nee McBain), Carm, Owen and Adrian
