We are saddened to say farewell to our wonderful neighbour and friend, Madeline. She was our next door neighbour for 35 years here in Port Elgin. We always looked forward to seeing Harold and Madeline return every spring to open the cottage. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Brian and Will and their families. You are in our thoughts.

Will & Brian. We were so sorry to hear of Madeline's passing. She was such a dear friend of Mom's. Unfortunately she did not see the notice till after the funeral, otherwise she would have attended. She spoke often of your parents, and we all have fond memories growing up in Oakridge in your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Madeline lived a good long life. She was a great friend to my mom when we lived on East Mile. And I always enjoyed being in her presence when I was young. She was always so nice to me. Will and I had fun playing together. She will be missed. She is one of the remaining ones from the New Years group. Only Shirley and Millie and Marilyn are left. What great times they had. Take care and God Bless you all.
