You WILL be missed Mom!

~ Cal Steven

Yes, Gabe, you will be missed. You were unfailingly gracious to me, kind, interested, and thoughtful. Your sensitivity and caring were real. Thank you for encouraging me at all times and wanting to stay in touch. That meant a lot. And Dan loved you so. He delighted in you. Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandma and mentor to him. When I heard of your passing, the picture that kept coming to mind was of Dan meeting you in heaven. What a reunion that must have been. Thank you for everything. I am better because of you. I am missing you.

Our hearts go out to you Cal, Erica and extended family. Gabrielle was an inspiration to all who met her and this earth would be a better place if more people followed in her example. We feel honored having spent some time with her over the past 20| years, as she was always a joy to talk to and listen to. Our deepest condolences.

My deepest sympathies to the Steven family. You can all rejoice in knowing what an absolute wonderful woman Gabe was, (as you all know first hand) and what in impact she has left on this world. Until you all meet again, may your memories of your Mom bring you only joy and happiness. I remember your mom with fondness and she was always such a delight to be around.

Our deepest sympathies to all. Mae was an outstanding, caring person. When I first her (I was so nervous, had not met any of Ron's family outside his dad or Donna) and she was amazing, put me at ease immediately and I'm sure you can all relate, makes me teary. We caught up through Christmas cards, we shared our lives and photos of Erica and Gracie. But the most memorable time was when she stayed with us in Ajax. She was worried about so many stairs, but we put her at ease, we were there to help her. It was so wonderful spending time with her, listening to so many wonderful stories. She was able to spend some time with her nephew, grandniece and my parents who lived with us, so she also got lots of stories from my side and Portugal and taste the food. Mae, you will be missed dearly, but live on in our memories for forever!❤️❤️❤️

~ Maria Powell (Ron & Grace)

My deepest condolences Robin, Laurie, Chris, Tim and Cal. Your mom was sweet and loving and I was priveleged to call her my mother-in-law. I will never forget our first meeting - she welcomed me with her beautiful warm smile and made me feel right at home. I've thought about Gabe so many times over the years. She was truly a special lady. I know how you will miss her.
