Peacefully with her family by her side, at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on Monday, October 21, 2019, in her 92nd year. Loving mother of Laszlo “Les” and his wife Eva. Cherished grandmother of Gloria and Robert. Dear sister-in-law of Helen Kovacs. Proud godmother of Paul Sztanko and aunt of Dan (Linda), Monika (Karl), Andrew (Griselda), and Ilona (Tim). Also missed by many relatives in Hungary. Predeceased by her loving husband, Laszlo Gombas, parents, Magdolna and Istvan Ladanyi, sisters, Matilka Tamasik and Erzsebet Kovacs, brothers, Jozsef Ladanyi and Kalman Ladanyi. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Magda are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Centre – Cardiology Department.
