Manuel ‘Manny’ DeMelo

Peacefully, at home with blue skies, Manuel DeMelo was embraced with love from his wife Maria and son Tony and daughter Carolinda husband Jeff along with his brothers and sisters. In his 69th year, Manuel passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. He was blessed to have so much love through his life and had a very close relationship with his brothers and sisters. Manuel was grateful for this strong relationship as they were by his side throughout life, as were Maria and Daniel Bulhoes. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of son Tony and daughter Carolinda Molner (Jeffery). Missed dearly by his sisters: Isabel deSousa (Eduardo), Ilda Caldwell (Ian); his brothers: Jose (Iria), Serafim (Filomena), Eduardo (Maria do Carmo), late Daniel (Maria) and Horacio (Isaura). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by old and new friends which he welcomed into his life. Manuel was a humble and simple man who was raised well by his parents to work hard and to live an honest life which he achieved each day. His values made him a strong loving husband who cherished his wife and children. He will be resting peacefully with his brother Daniel his mae Maria and his pai Jose. Manuel will enter a future paradise earth under God’s Kingdom.

A special thank you to the nurses and PSW’s of VON. Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with a private funeral service to follow. Interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive, London. Registration will be required to attend the visitation.
