Peacefully, on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at peopleCare Oakcrossing London in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Heard. Loving mother of Suzanne (Alan) David and Daniel (Anne) Heard. Dear grandmother of Jeremy, Cameron, Julie, Stacy and Michael and great-grandmother of Olivia, Ryan, Nicole and Cristiano. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings William Thomas, Marie Shaw and Helen Cardwell. A heartfelt thanks to all her many friends and family who visited her at Horizon Place. Special thanks also to her caregivers from Horizon Place and peopleCare who treated Bette like she was their own mom. Funeral Service will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
