Marie (Ann) Billick (née Nisbet)

 Marie Billick passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Victoria Hospital, London at age 93. Dear mother of Ann Mittag and her husband Roger and of Susan Cousins and her husband Barry. Dear mother-in-law of Mary Beth Billick and her partner Pat. Beloved Gramma of Daniel (Chantal), Brian (Rebecca), Natalie, John, Leena and Jackson. Beloved Great Gramma (GiGi) of Callum and Liam. Marie was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Walter (2010), her son, John (2015), and her siblings, James (2015), Kathryn (1996), and Thomas (1938).

Marie was born in Petrolia, but lived most of her life in Sarnia. After high school, Marie attended the Ryerson Institute of Technology, where she graduated from the School of Fashion. She returned to Sarnia, got married to Walt and became the mother of 3 busy kids. After raising her family, Marie was employed at Nova, retiring after 18 years of service. Marie had a very busy social life. She was a long serving member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and organized many fashion shows for charity. She also was part of a bridge group, a golf group, a walking group and so on. In 2019, Marie moved to London to be closer to family and continued to enjoy playing bridge, playing bingo and watching movies.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Westview Funeral Home, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.
