Sending your family thoughts of love and support from both of us.

~ Roberta Fox-Lawson (Shoebottom)

To the family of Marilyn, as families grow our dynamics are ever changing. Marilyn and I spent much time together at our grandparents ( Clint and Pearl Shoebottom) home on the lake located in Parry Sound area while we were growing up. We swam, fished and rowed the homemade boats around the lakes daily and discovered a world that so few children are blessed with on their vacations. The family fish fries and picnics bound the generations together as family. As we grew older and distance separated us from seeing each other at many of the family gatherings it has not diminished the great memories. The world has been blessed and made a better place by Marilyn's time with us. Rest in peace with God Marilyn. Danny

I heart felt sympathy goes out all the family of Marilyn. She has been such a strong and positive person through all her health problems. She always had a smile and was so happy and loved Maria and her kids. She will now rest in peace. God Bless her. Will miss her positive attitude and smile. Ann Ryan

Family of Marilyn Shoebottom: I have known Marilyn since she was vey young. Her Dad and Mon used to bring Frank, Dave and baby Marilyn to the Orange Hall on Highbury & 8th conc. While the adults danced the children slept on coats on the stage. There was a large wood stove so everybody was comfy. The orchestra played on, the adults danced and the kids slept. Over the years the times have changed. The kids have all grown and gone their separate ways. I used to see Marilyn every once in a while. What determination she had to adopt a little girl and to see her married and have a family. How fortunate Maria was to have a mother like Marilyn. Just thinking of all the good times we had growing up. May God bless Marilyn as meets her Heavenly Father. Be with Maria and her family and also David and his family. Remember the good memories and they will help you to get through the days ahead. Blessings and Prayers---Margaret McCullough
