Marion Louise Reaume

March 29, 2026

Peacefully at Parkwood Institute on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Donald L. Reaume (April 11, 2025).  Survived by her children Cathy (Wayne Harding), Bob (Jocelyne), Nip (Donna) and Doug (Liz).  Proud Grandma to seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Pre-deceased by her parents, Gerald and Ellen Shore and twin brothers, Jim and Jerry.

While raising a family of four, Marion always found time to help out.  Over the years, she canvassed for many charities, including the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  She was active in the Progressive Conservative Party, especially during election time.  She spent several years as a member of the Women’s Canadian Club, serving as president for a couple of years.

Marion always had time to help out her grandchildren with warm hugs and Chinese checkers when they were sick.

Retirement found Don and Marion exploring the world with good friends and making new ones along the way.

Marion will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, and her enjoyment of life.

A visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

For those wishing to donate in memory of Marion, please consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

My condolences for your loss. Marion was always there when I needed advice raising Andrew and Sarah. She was great at sharing her experiences. I miss the morning and afternoon coffees and chats on her front porch. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there this weekend as I’m out of town.
