Marion Stolte
March 7, 2026
With goodbyes having been tenderly shared, Marion passed away without suffering on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the age of 76. Marion’s husband, Eric; her four children, Lyf, Lia, Aimee and Charisse; and her sister, Leslie, all had the opportunity to say their goodbyes in person. Their spouses, Dante (Aimee), Jennifer (Lyf), Tyler (Charisse) and Bob (Leslie); along with her grandchildren, Deyen, Levi, Vincent, Angelo, Noel, Colton and Shay; her two nieces, Valya (Hector and their 4 children – Aiden, Aubriella, Nicholas and Nathan), and Nadya (Brian and their son, Finn); and her nephew Tommy (Ally and their daughter Jasmin) – all dearly cherished Marion and were much loved by her and blessed with many fond memories of shared laughter and joy in each of their lives.
She died while away with Eric in Camden, New Jersey. She travelled there from her home in London, Ontario to help her sister-in-law, Linda, who is moving to assisted living. True to how she chose to passionately live her life, she died while caring for someone else.
Born in Morrisville, Vermont, having immigrated to Canada, first to Saskatoon in 1987 and then to London in 2004, she was a dual citizen. Over the 53 years of her marriage, she gave of herself unselfishly, loving her husband, her children, extended family, and friends while also contributing to the lives of so many others around the world professionally – as a Life Coach, and especially through her volunteer work with various churches, The Navigators, The Canadian Hemophilia Society, the World Federation of Hemophilia, the Sjogren’s Society of Canada and Sanctuary London. This was the expression of her devoted faith in following Jesus and His way.
Hundreds, if not thousands of people, have been helped, loved and received the benefit of her generous, humble and devoted love and attention. Her legacy of caring lives on through all those she touched – she will be deeply missed and remembered. As the Canadian Hemophilia Society wrote, “Marion’s legacy lives on through the volunteers she mentored, the partnerships she helped build, and the many individuals and families whose lives were improved through her work. She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered.”

Leighton and I wept and celebrated as we watched the memorial service for beautiful Marion. I only knew her for a short time, and am so grateful I had the opportunity. Her wisdom, grace, honesty, goodness and laughter will never be forgotten. I know Marion loved cats (me too!), and while we watched the service my cat Twiggy cuddled up on my lap and took part in saying goodbye. ❤️. I think that would’ve made Marion smile. Goodbye for now beautiful woman, you have left the most amazing footprints on this earth.
