Marion Viola (née Kuzyk) Smythe

Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, August 29, 2021, in her 95th year. Devoted wife of John Smythe (2018). Cherished mother of Sheran (Chris) Essex. Adored grandmother of Aleksander (Anna) Essex, Jennifer (Nathan) Eichenberg; and great-grandmother of Moira, Julian, Lilah, Ezri and Nerys. Missed by her in-laws, Alma (Shirley) Leeder. Predeceased by brothers, John (Marg) Kuzyk, Reg Kuzyk; and in-laws, Sam Smythe, Elwood (Jean) Smythe, Delmar (Almeda) Smythe, Truman (Lois) Smythe, Bert (Mildred) Smythe, and Della (Dave) Smith. A private memorial service will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Cremation has taken place. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marion are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice of London or the Canadian Cancer Society.
