It is with deepest regrets that the family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Marjorie Hodgson of Belleville on Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 at Marian Villa, London, ON at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Hodgson. Loving mother to Meribeth “Beth” (the late Barry) Sarazin of London and the late James (Jim) Hodgson. Marjorie is survived by her sisters Dorothy Anderson and Mavis Halsey and niece Marsha Pordham (Don), all of Belleville. Predeceased by her brother Arthur Tucker of Belleville. Some of her fondest memories were her summer trailering at Victoria Park in Cobourg. The family would like to acknowledge her cherished friends Sue Herrington and Sarah Locke, good neighbours Sue and Erand Wiarta, and members of the Diners Club. The family is grateful for the care provided by the VON and Smile Program of Belleville which allowed her to remain in her home for many years. Sincerest thanks to the 5th floor staff of Marian Villa for their compassion and expert care of our loved one over the past 7 months. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date in Belleville.
