On behalf of the church family of Egerton Church I would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Marjorie's family. Marjorie has been an important part of Egerton Church for many years and all of us deeply loved and respected her. Every Sunday she arrived bright and early and sat at the very back on the right hand side. If ever an usher didn't show up she would right take over and hand out the church bulletins. She was amazing! As I think of Marjorie I picture her at the many sales that were held downstairs in the church. Marjorie would always be working on the Christmas tables in the middle - with one of her family there to help too. On a personal note - I visited Marjorie at her home, at Waverly Village and at the hospital and though she was discouraged by her failing health she was a fighter - and never gave up- and I liked that. One memory from those many visits warms my heart - Glady and I were visiting her in the hospital when Lori arrived - the four of us grabbed hands and in a circle we prayed together. That was the last time I ever saw her. Marjorie was a great friend and I loved her! God bless you and your family!
