We are sorry to read of Midge's passing. What a lovely woman she was. We lived next door to Midge and Earl in the condos on Commissioners Rd. I remember Midge enjoying her gin and tonic at 5 pm nightly and looking forward to having the entire family, around 30 of you, for Christmas. At Christmas I would take over a plate of homemade baking for them. A week or so later she would return the plate and have a cheese ball on it. She always said, "you never return a plate empty".

We are very sad to hear of the passing of your sweet Mom. She has been in our lives over the past 30 years. With the selling of her condo I got the chance to spend time with her alone. It was so nice getting to know her more at that time. Our son Dwayne has many wonderful mementoes of sharing dinners and spending time on the farm. Your Mom was such a sweet lady. She will be missed very much. So nice you could all be by her side. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. With our condolences and love, Jenny and Bob xo

Kathy, Jane, Gail, Margot and families, we are very sorry to hear that Aunt Midge has passed away. We have so many wonderful memories of her from the reunions that we attended. Our favourite memory, however, was when our second daughter Lauren was born. Your Mom mailed us a gift, the contents which, over time, have gone from our memories, and a greeting card, which we will never forget. It was signed with the message "Congratulations! We can't think of anything nicer than two girls ... except maybe three or four??" That message spoke volumes as to how proud she was to be the mother of four daughters. She was a very special lady, and will be missed. Our condolences to you and your families. Bruce and Cindy

It was my pleasure to meet Midge in 1992 when I moved to London. Midge was such a beautiful lady with a beautiful heart and a fun and caring friend. I will forever cherish, in my heart, our fun times, the sharing of our travels, memories of our shopping trips, eating chicken wings and then licking our fingers after each one, Midges delicious recipes, recipes we enjoyed exchanging. When eating an Avocado, I still today will only eat it "Midges Kenyan way". My heart is very saddened to have been informed by Jane of her mother s passing. My condolences to Jane, Kathy, Gail, Margot and your families. God bless.
