Marlene D. Hennessy (née Smith)

Peacefully into the arms of Jesus, and with her husband by her side, at University Hospital on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the age of 85.  Beloved wife of David L. Hennessy for 58 years.  Loving mother of Colin and Rob (Wendy [née Roode]).  Step grandmother of Anthony, Lauren and Kathryn, and step great-grandmother of Jack. Marlene is survived by her sister Lyla-Jean Smith Munday, and her nephews Kevin, Kelvin and Jody.  Pre-deceased by parents Fred and Irene (née Nelson) Smith.

Private interment will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026.  A visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. and a reception at 12:00 p.m.
