Peacefully and surrounded by family, at University Hospital on Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Allen (2009). Loving mother of Colleen Waitschies and Patricia Waitschies, both of London. Also loved, and sadly missed by her three grandchildren, Iain, Hannah and Kieran. Dear sister of Rosie Hanna (Hugh), Margaret McBride (Leslie), Pat Brown (Mavis), Bridie McIntosh (John) and sister-in-law of Joan Brown and Darlene Yardy (Jim). Mary is survived by many nieces, nephews and long-time family friends. Predeceased by her brother Jimmy Brown and sister Eileen Tatsumi (Kenny). A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, August 13th, 2011 at 10:30 a.m., at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mary are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. A special “Thank You” to the staff at Chateau Gardens and the 5th floor staff at University Hospital.
