TAYLOR, Mary Ewing (Thompson) – Born Montreal, Quebec November 22, 1924; Died June 17, 2011. Sadly missed by son Earl Taylor (Diane), daughters Catherine Taylor and Barbara Dorrington (Ron); Grandchildren David (Kim), Ashley (Mike), Courtney (Pat), Torrie (Bill), Troy, Tanja; and loved by seven great grandchildren: Olivia, Ainsley, Jakob, Jori, Jaeger, Areti and Sam. Lovingly remembered by brother Peter (Karen). Thank you to the dedicated staff at peopleCare Oakcrossing. Memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, June 20th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at a later date at Hillside Cemetery, Hawkesbury, Ontario. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society will be gratefully accepted.

Mrs.Grandma Taylor, I will always have great memories of you. I remember eating every last peanut in your bowl on Sundays at your aptmartment on Riverside drive. I will forever miss green jello salad at Christmas time. I will never forget your bumper sticker that read "starve mosquitos give blood to the Red Cross". I remember how you controlled your diabetes with careful food choices, and you answering my questions. I will always remember your different match books from all your worldly travels. I will always remember your beautiful silver we ate with. I will always remember that you had beautiful skin. You loved my children ,always sending them a gift along with a card for Christmas and bithdays. You will be missed greatly and I will never forget you. Torrie

Mary was such a lovely person - kind, thoughtful, interesting and interested. She always seemed genuinely curious about what was new and intriguing in your life as well as happy to share her thoughts and ideas from a rich intellect. We will miss her - we were always in good company when Mary was present. What a great pleasure to have known her.

Our sincerest condolences to all of Mary's family in this very sad time. Mary was a truly wonderful person and we shall ever be thankful for the wonderful friend she was to my mother, Helen McLister for so many, many years. Mary will be missed as she was loved....greatly.
