Peacefully, surrounded by her family at University Hospital on Saturday, June 11, 2016, Mary Francis Orriss, of London, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late William Orriss. Loving mother of Joseph (Heather) Secord, Bob Secord, Linda Secord, and Karen (Robin) Walker. Predeceased by her son Edward Secord. Dear stepmother of David (Pat) Orriss, Carole (Paul) Andrews and Marnie (Dave) Button. Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren have predeceased their grandmother Mary. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mary are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Dearest Linda, Karen, Bob, Joe and Family, Offering my deepest condolences in the loss of you beautiful Mother Mary. I was honored to bring Communion to your Mother every Sunday. Mary shared many lovely stories about her family and it was quite evident how much she Loved her children and always wanted the best for each of you. Mary became my friend and I'm so thankful that I had the opportunity to serve and be with Mary every week. Take care of each other and May God surround you with his Love and Peace. My deepest condolences to Mary's children, step-children, grandchildren and great grand children - I know she will be deeply missed by all of you. I can't help but smile when I remember her love of cards and a good laugh, coupled with her sense of humour. Despite her physical limitations of late, her personal energy was quite something to behold. I know that you will all miss your wilful matriarch, but I hope that knowing she is at peace and in heaven with those whom she joins there will give you some comfort at this difficult time.
