Mary Kathleen ‘Kathy’ Pittam

Of London, left this world to be with her beloved son, Christopher (1981), on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her cherished siblings, Carol Anne Spenard (2016) and Murray Wounch (2006). Dearly loved aunt of Brian Spenard (Debbie), Terri Catherwood (Kevin), Colleen Spenard, Cathy Armstrong (Andy), Bob Wounch (Dana), and Anne-Marie Spence (Marshall). Dear great-aunt of Karli, Calvin, Brody, Nathan, Brooke, Derek, Chloe, Sloane, and Bella. Beloved sister-in-law of Barb Wounch. Dear friend of Anne and Gary; Sandy and Mike; Dora; and Lorraine. Kathy was born in London on February 29, 1944, to the late Fredrick and Selina (Gill) Wounch. Kathy will be sadly missed by many close friends from her former careers and involvement with the Canadian Kennel Club. She was a well-loved colleague and developed many close friendships before retiring at Northern Telecom, and then during her time at TD Bank in her second career. Kathy was an avid dog lover with a fondness for the Doberman Pinscher and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeds. She was a former vice-president of the Monarch Kennel Club, and former secretary and treasurer of the Thames Valley Doberman Pinscher Club. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Registration is required to attend the visitation and the service.
