Mary Plumridge

Peacefully passed away at University Hospital on Friday, May 21, 2021, Mrs. Mary Plumridge (née Seal), of London, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Plumridge. Missed by her brother-in-law, Derek Plumridge, of Arkansas; Doreen Bevan and John Valentine, of England; Hilda and Trevor Roberts, of Australia, and everyone in the Brooks and Goss Households; Rose Henssion and Don Tumbule, of London, Ontario; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was born in Middleton, Lancashire, England. She married Joe in 1951, and they left England in 1956 for Canada. Mary worked for many years at the University of Western Ontario campus cafeteria. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date.

Mary was a dear friend and work companion. We worked at Western cafeteria at Natural Science and UCC for many years. I called her "Mary Muffin", because she loved to eat them on her lunch break. She was a wonderful and kind lady.
Remember Joe and Mary with fondness. First met both in the late seventies. Joe had a great sense of humour and Mary was quiet , a lovely lady. They both loved to travel and we loved to hear about their trips. Mary was a beautiful lady....
Memories
Mary was such a lovely lady. I worked with her for many years. So pleased to see she had such a long retirement.
