Suddenly passed away at LHSC – University Hospital in London, Ontario. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Annette Trotter (née Kigongo), Loving father of Curtis Trotter and Kalila Trotter. Adored Grandfather of Curtis Junior and Calvin. Beloved uncle of Kyle Armagon (Jennifer), Amanda Armagon and Candice Trotter (Cristian). Dear great-grand uncle of Grace, Samuel and Patrick Armagon, and Bianca Gojei. Cared for by sister, Hazel Armagon (Stanley) and brother, Trevor Trotter (Wendy). Predeceased by his sister, JoAnne Trotter and by his parents Luther and Eileen Trotter.
Michael loved Jazz. And held a deep appreciation for religious jazz music that strengthened his faith and appreciation for the natural world. Everywhere he travelled, he found joy in the simple beauty of parks, and the peaceful rhythm of the beach. Michael dedicated most of his working life to the auto-transportation industry, delivering vehicles in both Canada and the United States. It was a career he loved and one he was proud to retire from.
A funeral service / Celebration of Life will be conducted at West Park Church, 955 Gainsborough Road, London, ON N5G 5C9 on Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. For those unable to attend a livestream of the service is available.
