To Marita and Laurie and Families; Only had the pleasure of meeting Mike & Marita once 32 years ago but that visit had a strong impact on me. The event was the wake of my 23 year old brother, Steven, whose only LOVE in life had previously been Laurie. That evening, the Hannon's joined our inner Family in the Celebration of Steven's short life. Despite the lack of any direct relationship with either Mike or Marita, their positive energy was so strong that we were able to overcome our grief to relive Steven's personna and impact on others through laughter, tears and joy. Thank you so very much, Mike & marita, and may God shine his graces on you BOTH. Mike Palmer

Tito Mike's Family: I first met Michael when I was 12 and he was a Groomsmen at the wedding of his sister Sheila to my brother John McGivney. I had quite the preteen crush on Mike. The next year, we were honoured to be Godparents to Johnn and Sheils's first son, Kevin Andrew McGivney. My crush continued until I had the chance to meet Marita and their children. After a few years, we did not see each other, but I remember Mike very fondly. Life changes happen and I know that Mike remarried. I am very saddened to hear of his death and want to offer my condolences to his extended , combined family. Sincerely, Evlyn McGivney, Austin Riley and family. Rest now Michael, your journey here is over. xoxo

My thoughts and prayers are with the Hannon family. It doesn't matter how anticipated the loss of a parent is, the pain stikes deep and temporarily blocks out all the good memories. I pray with time the pain of the loss wanes, and is replaced with the many good memories that your Dad left behind.
