Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Friday, May 27th, 2011 in his 85th year. Cherished husband of Maria de Deus. Beloved father of Joe (Celeste) and Filomena de Sousa (Tony). Proud Avo of James (Marissa) and Tammy de Sousa, Jennifer Krzywinski (Sebastian) and Timothy Damaso (Nicole). Much loved Viz Avo of Nathan and Christian. Loving brother of Hermano, Jacinto, Gilbert, Santo Christo, Lenore and Maria De Deus. Predeceased by his brothers Joseph, Edmundo and Fernando. Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Founding member of Camoés Portugese Club in Harrow and retired member of Chrysler Local 444, Windsor. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George’s Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, on Monday, May 30th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. (visitation at the parish one hour prior to mass). Entombment to follow at St. Peter’s Holy Family Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Miguel are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre.

We are very saddend to hear about the passing of our Tio Miguel. He was an uncle that we loved very much. We are very grateful that we had him in our lives and he will be missed. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you. The Holton family. xoxoxox
