Miloslava (Millie) Hudson (née Vokurka)

At home on July 22, 2025, in London, at the age of 70. Millie passed away after a very long and very courageous battle. Beloved wife of Robert David Hudson (Dave) of 38 years. Loving mother to Karla and Katherine and mother-in-law to Aaron and Josh, who she loved as her own and will always hold a very special place in her heart. Predeceased by her parents, Karel and Milly Vokurka, and her sister, Hana Olmr.

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Millie moved to St. Thomas, Ontario, at a young age with her parents and sister. Her journey brought her to London, Ontario, where she worked as a dental assistant, met Dave and created a life filled with love, laughter, and that little touch of sarcasm that she was known for and no one will forget. Millie will always be remembered for her incredible strength, resilience and incredible fight until the absolute end.  She will be sorely missed by so many, including her neighbours, friends, healthcare team and family near and far, who she deeply loved and cared for.

Cremation has taken place. Millie’s family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to each of the Health Care Technicians of VON for the extensive support from the palliative teams at Paramed, Ontario Health at Home and the Cancer Clinic of London throughout the years.
