Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on February 23, 2015, with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Bill Martin. Loving mother of Janet (Tom) Evans and Ian (Karen) Martin. Cherished grandmother of Lindsay, Kaitie, Alex, Janelle and Karly. Proud great-grandmother of Abbie and Emma. Dear sister of Des, Jack, Louie, Alma, June and Harold. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Predeceased by her brothers Ken and James and by her sister Norma. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those caring individuals who assisted Mina throughout her journey. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 27th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mina are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Deepest sympathy to Janet, Ian and their families at this sad and difficult time.We all have very fond memories of Aunt Mina and the special times we shared together. She was kind, caring and courageous and will be sadly missed by all who knew her on both sides of the Atlantic.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of our times at the Royal Winter Fair girl's weekend with my Mom (Norma) and yours. They giggled like young girls and always seemed to find all the free giveaways! They were such good friends. My thoughts are with you.

Mina felt like family to us. She always put such a smile on everyone's face! She was a very special person with interesting stories, a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye! A classy lady...a shooting star!
