It is with deep sorrow in our hearts that the family of Mirko Tadić announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in London at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Jadranka. Dear father of Igor (Sanja), Jadranka (Mirza), Bojana (Scott), and Vedran (Ashurina). Proud deda, “dida,” of Nemanja, Andrea, Vuk, Nenad, Olivia, Emily, and Mak. Adored brother of Mijo, Kata, Tomo (Šima), Janja, and Anđelka. Remembered fondly by his extended members of the Čolović, Mirčeta, and Krasić families. Loved and cherished by many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends across the world. Mirko is predeceased by his mother Ivka and father Ivan.
Mirko’s joy was rooted in his family and friends, and he found his energy when in the presence of others. He was a proud man with the heart of a lion; a protector and a guardian, who was always ready to serve and advocate for those in need. Mirko will be remembered for his sense of humour, his storytelling, and his larger than life presence. He will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
Mirko’s family wishes to acknowledge the efforts of Divna Bojic and her entire staff, as well as the Emergency Department team at Victoria Hospital, and thank them for their compassion and care.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Westview Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m., followed by interment at Woodland Cemetery.

Deepest condolences to the Tadic Family. Cika Mirko occupied a special place in our harts and we will cherish memories of him as long as we live. He had personality that instantly lights a space, and that light still shines and will never go away. We thank you Cika Mirko for always being a good friend and for loving us so much. May your soul travel easy carried by our gratitude for all that you were while you were here with us.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Mirko. We loved seeing him around Holtby and enjoyed watching and partaking in the grappa process with him and Scott. We know the hole he will leave your family, and are here for you always. Condolences to everyone. The D'onofrios

Mirko and his family took me under their wing , when I arrived alone in Canada. His wonderful and kind wife Jadranka is someone I could trust as my own sister. Mirko always welcomed me in his house , always with huge smile and good advise. It was good to hoop on a bus when he drove and have a friendly chat . He was that kind of man who brings light and warmth in his heart to anyone who knew him. I know his family will miss him a lot. My deapest condolences. RIP Počivaj u miru , dragi Mirko
I am so sad to hear of Mirko's sudden passing. It doesn't seem possible. I started at London Transit with Mirko - we were in the same class (I was one ahead of him in seniority). He is the kindest, gentlest man I know and was always happy and helpful. He loved to brag about his children and their accomplishments - he was so proud of them! I was sad when he decided to retire (but happy for him) I will miss him especially at sign up time. He would always enter with a big grin and a big hey to everyone. He lit the room up. RIP my friend, I will always miss your smile and your friendship.
