Momčilo “Momo” Dobrijević

Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28th, 2026.

Born on December 5th, 1964, to the late Vukašin and Bosiljka Dobrijević, Momo will be remembered for his deep curiosity and his endless desire to learn. He was incredibly resourceful, humble, hard-working, and loving. He was at his happiest out in nature, whether fishing with his wife Boja, hunting with his closest friends, or gardening with his grandchildren. His legacy lives on through his humility, hard work, generosity, and love of learning. He inspired others through his selflessness and always encouraged those around him to grow, learn, and be kind to others.

Momo is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Boja Dobrijević; his children, Slađana (and her husband Justin Thompson) and Miloš Dobrijević (and his partner Taylor Carmichael); and his beloved grandchildren, Stella and Leo Thompson. He is also survived by his sister, Vukosava, and her family, as well as a close community of family and friends, including many back home who are not able to be here with us. He will remain in our hearts forever.

A funeral service will be held at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 5567 Wonderland Road South, London on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Drive, London. Following the burial, there will be a lunch at the St. Sava church hall.
