Myra Shallen

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23^rd, 2014 at Chelsey Park Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husbands, Harry Shallen and Eldon Franks. Myra will be sadly missed by her sister Aileen Hartviksen of Thunder Bay as well as her nieces Cathy Fassina (Chris Wheatley) and Susan Springgay (Stu Thomson), all of London, and nephew Colin Springgay (Sue Springgay) of Barrie, and great-nieces Nicole Fassina, Emily Springgay (Kevin), Michelle Springgay (Yuri) and Leah Springgay. Myra is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sisters, Lily May Olson, Ann Main, Sigrid Pitt and Vee Springgay. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, January 29^th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. where family and friends will be received one hour prior. Private interment will be held at a later date in Thunder Bay. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Myra are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation or Parkwood Hospital.
