N. Isabel Bonell
January 25, 2014
Died peacefully on Saturday, January 25th, 2014, at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband, David Russell. Loving mother to Maureen Stewart (Doug) and Ann King (Tim). Proud grandmother of Mark (Tina), Karen, Bill (Jenni), Catherine (John), Andrew (Tiffany), and great grandmother of Mykaela, Nikolas, Kennedy, Brayden, Ethan, Jenna, Andrew and Nathan. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Isabel loved to explore and discover new things – with her mind, her words and, when possible, with travel. She forged many special friendships due to her love of people, some of the deepest with members of her many writing groups. Her family is very grateful for the care given to Isabel at McCormick Home. A celebration of Isabel’s life is to be held on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McCormick Home or to a charity of your choice.

Dear Maureen and Ann: I was so sorry to read that your mother had died. I regret not seeing her lately though I did talk to her a while before Christmas. She was a great lady and your description of her is so true. Since our times in the pool at 7 Picton I really felt that she was a soulmate, as she has been to many others. In her quiet way she was a remarkable woman. My heartfelt condolences to you and to your families. Sincerely, Carole Jones
